About Aura
Born and raised in Chiang Mai, Thailand, Aura immigrated to the United States in the early 1970s, embarking on a lifelong journey of adaptation, resilience, and self-discovery. As a daughter, student, mother, entrepreneur, and immigrant, she draws inspiration from her experiences navigating cultural duality and the quest for belonging. Her evocative writing, rich with sensory detail, reflects the soul of a woman shaped by two worlds—bridging East and West, tradition, and transformation. When she’s not writing, Aura enjoys cooking Thai cuisine, traveling, and reconnecting with the roots that continue to inspire her. Crossing Paths: The Immigrant’s Emotional Journey Home introduces her as a writer of heartfelt storytelling, introspection, and personal reflection.
